Attention 2025 Applicants
May 11, 2025
Sis. Nonetta I. Sode was a faithful member of St. Peter AME Church for more than 25 years. Sis. Sode had a great passion for providing educational opportunities for young people. She was committed to providing those opportunities for the youth of St. Peter while emphasizing the importance of Christ in their lives.
To continue her legacy, The Nonetta I. Sode Academic Scholarship has been established by her husband, Seni, Sr., and two sons, Seni Jr. and Jimi.
- The goal of this scholarship is to assist students financially and encourage them to continue their post-secondary education.
- The scholarship will be fully funded by the Sode Family.
- It is not a financial needs-based scholarship.
- Students may reapply for the scholarship each year.
We are thankful for the significant impact she made to improve the lives of the youth at St. Peter AME Church.
The 2025 Scholarship Application will be available Sunday, May 11, 2025. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be recognized on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
